When a debris dam looks like a roof leak
Leaves, twigs and moss can collect in a roof valley, including a lead valley. As the build-up restricts water, a dam forms. Rainwater can then be pushed sideways beneath tiles or into vulnerable junctions, causing internal water penetration even where the roof covering itself is not necessarily defective. A blockage is one possible cause, not a diagnosis that can be made from an indoor stain alone.
Careful clearance, suited to the access
We assess whether long-reach vacuum equipment or careful hand clearance is appropriate. Concealed debris may require tiles to be carefully lifted or temporarily removed where suitable access allows. This service concerns roof drainage and debris clearance; it is not a general roofing service. Any apparent roof-covering defect is explained separately.
