When repair is practical
A compatible new seal, union or outlet can resolve a local fault without replacing a complete run. Support and alignment should be checked at the same time so the underlying strain is not left unresolved.
When to consider replacement
Several failing fittings, damaged sections or an obsolete profile with no compatible spares may change the balance. Ask for the scope, limitations and cost of each reasonable option before agreeing the work.
